On May 5, 2026, top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in aesthetic medicine came together at Bang's Prime Skin Aesthetics for an exclusive hands-on training session featuring MINT PDO threads, a premium threadlifting solution celebrated for its natural results, minimal swelling, and gentle performance.

The distinguished KOLs in attendance included:

* Dr. Mary Joy T. Uy-King, MD, DPBA, FPSA

* Dr. Joel J. Javate, MD, FPPS, DPSV, DNSP

* Dr. Lindsay Gail Wilson Torralba-Garcia, MD, MBAH, FPPA, FPAS, FPPS

The session began with a dynamic roundtable discussion in which KOLs reviewed procedural techniques, shared best practices, and explored innovative approaches to facial lifting and rejuvenation.

Following the discussion, they engaged in a hands-on training using six MINT products, each designed for specific aesthetic applications:

* Mint Fix – Core lifting thread for strong anchoring and support.

* Mint Fix Mini – Shorter version of Mint Fix, ideal for smaller, delicate areas.

* Mint Fine – Thin and delicate threads perfect for gentle refinement and smoothing fine lines.

* Mint Petit – Ultra-fine threads for subtle contouring and precision work.

* Mint Tip – Designed for refining facial angles and soft tissue repositioning.

* Mint Up – Specialized for vertical lifting, enhancing overall facial definition.

* Mint Easy – A versatile, user-friendly thread that will be the focus of the upcoming Trainers Genesis II advanced program with Dr. Sunho Song, allowing KOLs to elevate their expertise in safe, efficient threadlifting techniques.

During the training, the KOLs practiced techniques, with an emphasis on the reverse plane technique, which is lauded for its precision and natural-looking results. Attendees were impressed by the versatility of MINT threads and their minimal downtime, reaffirming why MINT remains a trusted choice in advanced aesthetic procedures.

This session not only strengthened their technical skills but also prepared them for the upcoming Trainers Genesis II, where they will continue refining their mastery of MINT Easy under the guidance of Dr. Sunho Song, Chief Director of Divine Plastic Surgery Korea, Academic Director of the Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons, and Executive Faculty of the Korean Academic Association of Rejuvenation – Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

The May 5 training was a testament to the commitment of these leading physicians to push the boundaries of threadlifting innovation, delivering safe, precise, and natural results to their patients.
